Big Mistake

Tim Cook is the outgoing CEO of Apple. He will bow out of his job in September. He recently reflected on his time at the company and revealed some of his mistakes.

One big mistake was Apple Maps. He said the app was not reliable and had faulty information. Some results were very bizarre. For example, it showed roads that didn’t exist and fields of wheat as airports. Tim Cook said it was difficult to admit this mistake.

Tim Cook was appointed CEO in 2011 after Steve Jobs. He succeeded Jobs and started his tenure as leader of Apple. Jobs was a pioneer in technology, and Cook continued to grow the company.

Today, Apple products are well known because they are integrated and work well together. Cook ensured the company stayed successful. He said his biggest achievement was the Apple Watch, which helps people improve their fitness and health.
